Luke Wagner, DVM is a graduate of Purdue University. He has been employed at APEC since July 1999. Dr. Wagner is happily married and a dedicated father to his daughter & son. In his spare time, Dr. Wagner attends church, swims, cycles & loves to garden.
Michelle Hughes, DVM
Michelle Hughes, DVM is a graduate of Auburn University. She has been employed at APEC since December 2006. Dr. Hughes loves to garden in her free time, and her favorite rose is the Hybrid Tea. Dr. Hughes also attends church & enjoys spending time with her family.
Sarah Henry, DVM
Sarah Henry, DVM is a graduate of Purdue University. She has been employed at APEC since January 2009. In her free time, Dr. Henry takes care of her cats and two dogs, attends arts & craft shows, knits, reads, & travels. Dr. Henry enjoys treating exotic pets & learning new activities.
Toni Gillespie has been employed at APEC since July 1999 as a Veterinary Assistant. She has been in a position of management since 2005. She began working as the Finance Director in 2008. Toni is a loving and dedicated mother to her two children and their cat, Rebel. She is very involved in church and enjoys going to concerts in her free time.
Amanda Hart has been employed at APEC since 2001 as a Veterinary Assistant. She graduated from Ivy Tech in 2006 with an AAS in Business Administration with a Specialty in Management and had been working as the Staffing Director since 2008. Amanda has been happily married since 2002, has two children, and several pets. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to church, and reading in her spare time.
Angelena Black has been working as a Veterinary Assistant since 1998. She is the mother of two and has two grandsons. Angelena enjoys bonfires, music, and dance, working out, playing sand volleyball and the guitar. In 2014 she got to experience the process of building a new house & enjoys sharing it with her significant other, Jim, and her furbaby Wedgie.
Caresse Karns has been working in the veterinary field since 2003. She has an Associates Degree from Ivy Tech in Photography. Caresse loves working with exotics & hopes to one day work with large cats. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her mom, fiancé, and three kids, in addition to their multiple four-legged children.
Chandra Beck is a Registered Veterinary Technician and has worked for All Pet Emergency Clinic since April 2013. She is originally from southwest Kentucky, but moved to Evansville, IN to be with her Husband in 2009. They married in 2011 and have two beautiful children together. It wasn’t until she moved to Evansville, that she realized her dream of being part of the veterinary community was obtainable. Chandra attended Harrison College from 2010 – 2012 and obtained her Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. She absolutely loves working for All Pet Emergency Clinic; and feels that we have a close-knit group of people who can handle the stress of emergency medicine, while also being each other’s support when times get rough. We never know what is walking through the door from minute to minute, and things can become extremely hectic. However, the amazing feeling she gets when we can save a patient’s life makes up for all the strenuous aspects that go along with working in this field. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, traveling, and exploring new areas. Chandra’s four legged/finned children are: her dog – Kingsley, cat – O’Malley, Leopard Gecko – Leviathan, and Guppy – Kraken
Allison Thornton is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Animal Health Technology in December 2014. In addition to working at APEC since August 2014, Allison also works for Warrick Vet Clinic, Newburgh Plaza. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends, family & furbabies!
Nicole Kraatz has been working with animals since she was 15. She started volunteering at Warrick Humane Society, which later became her first job. Nicole graduated from Harrison College’s Veterinary Technician program in April 2014 and began working part-time at APEC in August of that year. In addition to the emergency clinic, Nicole works full-time as a surgery technician at East Pines Animal Clinic. Her passion is helping animals, and in her free time Nicole enjoys working out, taking her dogs for a walk and doing agility with her dogs.
Shelby Kavanaugh is a graduate of Harrison College’s Veterinary Technician program. She has been an employee of All Pet Emergency Clinic since April 2015. She is the mother of one beautiful daughter and six furbabies! In her spare time, Shelby enjoys spending time with her family and cooking.
Cassandra Johnson started her education in Criminal Justice, but ended up working with animals in 2005- discovering her true passion! Sandy has worked at Vanderburgh Humane Society in addition to volunteering with several animal rescues. She became an employee at APEC in April 2015. Her family includes her daughter Victoria, son Logan, six dogs and five cats. In her free time, Sandy enjoys spending time with family (two-legged and four-legged), going to the cinema and traveling.
Brookelyn Williams has recently finished Harrison College’s Veterinary Technician program and is eagerly anticipating graduation! She came to All Pet Emergency Clinic in February 2017 for an externship & decided to continue her career in emergency medicine. Brookelyn enjoys working with exotics and would love to one day work for a zoo. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends, family and her four-legged furbabies.
Shelby Rudisill is currently in her final quarter at Harrison College, working towards a degree in Veterinary Technology. She has worked in veterinary medicine since 2015 and has been a part of the APEC team since April 2017. She has two dogs and three cats and enjoys spending time with family & friends in her free time.
